重庆

重庆历史文化悠久，拥有众多的人文景观和风光名胜。“山城”“雾都”之称，既丰富了重庆这座文化名城的内涵，也给重庆旅游发展添色生辉，它吸引着越来越多的国内外客人前来旅游观光，探踪寻觅。重庆旅游资源得天独厚，是中国旅游资源最富集的地区之一。已开发出20多处大景区，300多处旅游参观点。

Chongqing with a long history and rich culture has many human landscapes and scenic attractions . It is famous as "Mountain city" or""Fog city" , which  not only enriches the cultural connotation of Chongqing , but also promotes the development of Chongqing Tourism .It is attracting a growing number of domestic and foreign tourists every day. Chongqing owns unique tourism resources, which is is one of the richest areas with the tourism resources in China. There are 20 major scenic spots, 300 other attractions for tourists to appreciate.

丰都

丰都鬼城位于长江北岸，距重庆市区172公里。其历史悠久，被誉为“中国的神曲之乡”。名山古刹多达27座。“阴曹地府”塑像群分别模拟人间诉讼，法庭，监狱，酷刑等。构思奇特，神态逼真，集中反映了中国人的神和鬼，天堂和地狱的观念。山上还有苏轼，陆游，范大成等历史名人的碑刻题咏。“鬼国幽都”之说由平都山而起，民间传云：汉代王方平，阴长生两道士曾于平都山修炼成仙，道家遂于此山设天师，并将其列为“三十六洞天，七十二福地之一”。后人附会“阴，王”为“阴王”，平都山亦渐附会为“阴都”，即今天的“鬼城”。

Fengdu-Ghost City is called "the hometown of Chinese Divine Tune".In this park,the Chinese ghost culture is demonstrated by a sreies of typical Chinese ancient buildings and sculptures at all sizes.It is said that about1700 years ago  two Taoists flew into the sky and became immortals.Coincidently,the combination of their surnames in chinese is Ghost King. From then on, people call this place the Ghost City.

神龙溪

神农溪全长60公里，发源于神农架自然保护区南部，它由北向南穿行于深山峡谷之中，在巴东城北和长江汇合。溪水清澈见底，无污染，水流湍急，乘舟漂流，使人领略急流溪水的无穷力量。神农溪是一个充满魅力的旅游风景点。

The 60km long Shennong Stream originates from the southern part of the Shennongjia  Nature Reserve Zone. the stream flows  north through deep gorges and finally merges with the Yantze River at entrance of the north Badong Town.The crystal clear and unpolluted water flows very swiftly. A tour by sanpan will give you an idea of just how powerful the rapid stream.The Shennong Stream is indeed a very attractive scenic spot.

三峡大坝

1994年12月14日，当今世界第一大的水电工程－三峡大坝工程正式动工，距下游葛洲坝水利枢纽工程38公里。大坝坝顶总长3035米，坝顶高程185米，正常蓄水位175米，总库容393亿立方米。

     三峡大坝建成后，将形成长达600公里的巨型水库，成为世界罕见的新景观。2009年整个三峡工程竣工后，水位提高到175米。随着沿江山脉间人造湖泊的形成和通航条件的改善，原本分散在三峡周围的许多景点将更容易到达，如小三峡，神农溪等千姿百态的仙境画廊。

 On December 14,1994,  the Three Gorges Dam-the largest hydroelectric project of our times was started being built formally,  it’s 38km far away from  Ge ZhouBa Water control project. It is a concrete gravity dam with total length of 3035 meters and height of 185m. Its normal water storage level is 175m high, with total installed capacity of 39300 million cubic meters.

After The Three Gorges Dam’s building up, a huge reservoir with 600km in length is to be formed, which will become a rare new view in the world. When the Three Gorges Projects is completed in 2009, the water level will rise to 175m. with the Improvement of the condition of navigation and the forming of the artificial lake among the mountain ranges, the originally scattered scenic spots such as the Small Three Gorges and Shenglong Stream are easy to reach.
