--EMPEROR QIN SHIHUANG’S MAUSOLEUM --	Emperor Qin Shihuang alias Yingzhen, by 221 B.C., had annexed the six rival principalities, the Qi, the Chu, the Yan, the Han, the Zhao and the Wei, and established the first feudal empire in China’s history. Emperor Qin Shihuang conscripted more than 700,000 convicts to build his mausoleum, immediately after he came to the throne, so as to ensure his peaceful, eternal sleep. It took 38 years to finish this project. These palaces stretched several hundred miles and he would seek pleasure from one palace to another. It has been determined that Qin Shihuang's
Mausoleum has never been dug up or plundered. And in 1987, UNESCO entered it into the list of world heritage.
The sentry changing ceremony of the vigil-keeping troop of emperor Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum reproduces the scene of a mighty force full of power and grandeur sweeping across Liuhe 2200 years ago. It brings people back to the period that dukes or princess under an emperor contended for hegemony.Wearing helmet and armour, Qin Warriors held long halberds with sharp swords in waists to guard the mausoleum for emperor Qin Shi Huang. The ceremony was grand and solemn, and the rehearsal before it was of great momentum. Watching the breath-taking. powerful movements, listening to the rhythmic and sonorous music with drum beats and the sound of horns. a magnificent and spectacuiar scene full of Qin style will make visitors broaden their horizon and benefit a lot.
