历史上的中国老百姓祈求家人和睦团聚供奉的“和合神”原为唐代的“万回”。宋朝以后,“和合神”由寒山与拾得二僧像取代,并逐渐演变成两个童真天趣、形影不离的孩童形象,称“和合二仙”。拾得持荷、寒山把盒,寓意和睦合力之意;同时,民间有用“和合二仙”礼盒指代夫妻 “百年好合”的婚嫁习俗,故称“和合二仙”是喜庆、恩爱、团圆之神。本园和合二仙塑像,总高9.3米,凝练了中华传统“和合文化” 的深邃意境,体现了国民企盼祖国统一、世界和平的美好心愿。
In history, “Holy Whole” Immortal, who was called as “Wan Hui” Immortal in Tang Dynasty, was worshiped by Chinese people for impetrating families concord and reunion.
