历史上的中国老百姓祈求家人和睦团聚供奉的“和合神”原为唐代的“万回”。宋朝以后，“和合神”由寒山与拾得二僧像取代，并逐渐演变成两个童真天趣、形影不离的孩童形象，称“和合二仙”。拾得持荷、寒山把盒，寓意和睦合力之意；同时，民间有用“和合二仙”礼盒指代夫妻 “百年好合”的婚嫁习俗，故称“和合二仙”是喜庆、恩爱、团圆之神。本园和合二仙塑像，总高9.3米，凝练了中华传统“和合文化” 的深邃意境，体现了国民企盼祖国统一、世界和平的美好心愿。

     In history, “Holy Whole” Immortal, who was called as “Wan Hui” Immortal in Tang Dynasty, was worshiped by Chinese people for impetrating families concord and reunion. After Sung Dynasty, “Holy Whole” Immortal was placed by two bonze statues - “Han Shan” and “Shi De”, and became two lovely and inseparable kids' images gradually, which was called as  “Holy Whole” Double Immortals.
