东方文化园佛教区杨岐禅寺始建于南宋嘉定二年（公元1209年），初名“崇福杨寺”，时梵宇琳琅，香火极盛，寺中有宋宁宗御赐题额。明代时，易名为“杨岐寺”。世事沧桑、寺宇屡建屡毁。适逢世纪交替之际，盛世太平，由杭州东方文化园有限公司出资亿元重修，千年古刹重新焕发出庄严恢宏的光彩。

    The Boddhist Parish in The Orient Culture Park Yangji Dhyana Buddhist Temple, first named as  “Congfuyang Temple”, was build up in the second year of Jiading of the Southern Sung Dynasty (1209 of A.D.). With imperial writing  of Sungningzong in the Buddhist temple, it was very resplendent and prosperous at the time. The Buddhist temple was renamed as “Yangji Dhyana Buddhist Temple” in the Ming Dynasty.
